Enhance your lips without changing what makes you unique.
At Vitabella Clinic, our doctor-led lip filler treatments are individually tailored to enhance lip shape, volume, symmetry and definition while maintaining natural facial balance.
Treatments are performed by Dr Ezio and Dr Raoul, registered medical doctors in Ireland with extensive experience in facial aesthetics. Whether you are considering a subtle 0.5 ml enhancement, restoring volume that has reduced over time or creating greater definition, your treatment plan will be based on your anatomy and personal goals.
Lip filler treatment is available in different amounts depending on your natural lip anatomy and desired result:
0.5 ml: Ideal for a subtle enhancement, gentle definition or first-time treatment.
0.7 ml: Suitable for a noticeable but balanced enhancement.
1 ml: Suitable where greater volume, shaping or structural definition is required.
The amount requested by the patient is not automatically the amount that will be injected. Your doctor will assess your lips, facial proportions, existing filler and medical history before recommending an appropriate treatment plan.
Treatment time: Approximately 30–45 minutes, including consultation and numbing
Anaesthetic: Topical numbing cream; many fillers also contain lidocaine
Results: Visible immediately, with temporary swelling expected
Longevity: Commonly around 6–12 months, depending on the product, amount injected, anatomy and individual metabolism
Downtime: Usually minimal, although swelling and bruising can occur
Hyaluronic acid is commonly used in temporary dermal fillers, and its effects generally last approximately 6–12 months, although duration varies.
Lip filler is a non-surgical injectable treatment used to enhance the volume, shape, border and proportions of the lips.
At Vitabella Clinic, we use hyaluronic acid-based dermal fillers selected according to the patient’s anatomy and desired outcome. Hyaluronic acid is a substance naturally present in body tissues and can provide temporary volume and structural support when used as a dermal filler.
Lip filler may be considered for:
Results are visible immediately, but the lips normally appear swollen at first. The final result should only be assessed after the initial swelling has settled.
Lip filler is a medical procedure and is not suitable for every patient. A consultation and medical assessment are required before treatment.
Beautiful lip filler is not simply about adding volume. It requires an understanding of lip anatomy, facial proportions, movement and the relationship between the lips, chin, nose and surrounding features.
Our aim is to create lips that suit your face rather than lips that look obviously filled.
Every patient has different lip anatomy. Some patients require additional volume, while others benefit more from definition, improved symmetry or restoration of volume that has reduced over time.
At Vitabella Clinic, your doctor will assess:
Your doctor may recommend using less filler than originally requested, dividing treatment into stages or not proceeding where filler is unlikely to produce an appropriate result.
Dermal filler should be treated as a medical procedure. Regulatory guidance advises patients to choose a suitably trained and experienced healthcare professional who understands anatomy, filler products and the management of complications.

Before treatment:
Treatment may need to be postponed in the presence of an active skin or systemic infection. Patients should disclose bleeding disorders, severe allergies and allergies to local anaesthetic or filler components.
Following treatment:
Seek urgent medical attention and contact the clinic immediately if you experience unusual or increasing pain, visual changes, or skin that becomes white, grey, blue or unusually mottled. These can be warning signs of a rare vascular complication.

Will my lips look natural?
Yes, when done properly. We focus on proportion and balance rather than just adding volume. The goal is to enhance your lips in a way that suits your face. You’ll still look like you—just with better lips.
Does it hurt?
We use numbing cream before treatment, and most fillers contain lidocaine which numbs as we inject. Most people describe the sensation as pressure rather than pain. It’s very tolerable.
How much swelling should I expect?
Swelling is normal and peaks within 24-48 hours. Your lips will look larger than the final result during this time. Most swelling settles within 3-7 days. Some people bruise, but it’s usually minor and can be covered with makeup after 24 hours.
How much filler do I need?
It depends on your starting point and goals. Most people start with 0.5ml-1ml. We recommend starting conservatively—you can always add more, but you can’t take it away once it’s in (unless dissolved). We’d rather build gradually than overfill.
What if I don’t like the result?
Hyaluronic acid fillers can be dissolved using an enzyme called hyaluronidase. If you’re unhappy with the result, we can reverse it. That said, it’s important to wait for swelling to settle before making any decisions—what looks too full on day 2 often looks perfect on day 7.
Most experience minimal discomfort due to Dr Landi’s precise technique.
You’ll notice changes almost immediately, with final effects within 1–2 days.
Yes—once filler is dissolved, it’s gone permanently.
Minimal—normal activities resume quickly, with just a few simple restrictions.
